I hope you all had a great summer, even though August and September appear to have been jumbled up this year.

I am really pleased to welcome The Petchey Academy and Haggerston to our growing trust.  I strongly believe that a group of schools working to challenge and support each other can be a genuine force for change.  To make it work, though, requires strong leadership from everyone and a willingness to look for ways to improve.  

To help children do well requires a huge effort from everyone involved in the school.  We should never forget that we are part of a large team of professionals, support staff and teachers alike.  Combined, we make a lasting difference to the lives of children.  

The provisional progress results for each school are shown below. Remember: if a child makes one grade progress (P8 of 1) they will earn over £200k extra in a lifetime and live longer, happier, healthier lives. 

I look forward to working with everyone this year to make a difference in the lives of children.
